SKATING SENSATION JORDAN PRICE. WHO???? JORDAN PRICE - THAT'S WHO!!!!
New Anarchy skate team rider Jordan Price packed up the RV and headed for Factory Skate Park in Newnan, Georgia this past weekend. The “Have a Nice Fall Skate Contest” was going on and it was packed. Now before reading any further.... Who is Jordan Price you ask???? He is a 14 year old grom winning everything he enters and is scaring the crap outta all those he competes against.... Check out "Jordan Price skateboarding" on Youtube.com!!!
Now at this event, 3 total comps were held - Street, Mini-ramp and Vert. Jordan was one of only a few that skated all 3 events in the open division. Mini-ramp was first and there was some epic skating going on. 1- 45 second run followed by a jam format. Jordan had some tough competition but pulled the plug on them and swept a first place finish. His flawless runs of huge airs and endless lip tricks is what put him in front of the pack.
After the mini-ramp, everyone was off to the street course. 40,000 sq.ft. of full-on skate park. The park was filled with transition walls everywhere and that’s what Jordan enjoys most. Huge nose bones on the vert wall over coping, smooth style, and a tray-flip to close his run is what clinched the show. Nothing was off limits and Jordan once again pulled through with a first place finish. Some of the best street skaters in the southeast were there pulling some of the craziest flip tricks. None of them could pull their runs together for flawless runs. If you fell, you had a slim chance of making top 3. If you fell twice, forget about it. Jordan had 3 tricks done in the first 10 seconds of his run. If you watched his second run, you just felt like it was a first place finish.
To end the day everyone went to the vert ramp. Divisions here were 13 and under and 14 and over. Jordan rode up in the 14 and over division. 3 - 30 second runs or skate til you fall pretty much. Jordan barely clinched second place and did so in his last run by landing his kick-flip Indy. He rolled away smoothly and finished off his run with some big airs and lip tricks. Overall, the weekend was great and everyone had fun. Next week is Mountain Dew Free Flow final. Look for Jordan skating as he competes for his chance to skate in the Playstation Pro. The overall winner gets the wildcard.
Good luck Jordan.
